Happy February! We’re celebrating Black History Month as well as National Donor Day on the 14th; a day dedicated to raising awareness for all types of donation–organ, eye, tissue, blood, platelets, and marrow– and the different it can make for those in need.
The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland is happy to introduce a series of beautiful designs coming your way over the course of 2021. We wanted to share these messages of hope and gratitude while also making them accessible to you, so each image is available to download for you to use as a computer and/or phone background.
Instructions on how to set these designs as your background are at the bottom of the page!

About the Artwork
Every year, The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland works with a local artist to design a themed calendar honoring the gifts of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation. For this year’s theme, the quotes in these 12 graphics have been adapted from responses via social media to the prompt:
“Tell your donation story in just six words.”
The artwork, created by local artist Rebecca Smith, is inspired by each anonymous six-word story and depicts the many ways that donor families, recipients, living donors, and others are connected to donation. Over the course of 2021, we’ll share the graphic created for each corresponding month for you to download and use as a background for your computer and/or phone.
