May: “My nameless hero SAVED my life.”

Here's to a marvelous month of May! We're excited to show our gratitude to our amazing nurses during National Nurses' Week from 5/6-5/12 and also celebrate Older Americans Month, which recognizes and celebrates older Americans for taking charge of their health, getting engaged in their communities, and making a positive impact in the lives of others. What's the best way to do all three? Register as an organ, eye, and tissue donor! The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland is h

A Coincidental Meeting – Guest Blog by Amanda Wright

Today’s guest blog comes from a very special contributor. Amanda Wright is the sister of Patrick Owen Murphy, a young man who became an organ donor after passing away at the age of 16 this past June. While out in Federal Hill over the Thanksgiving holiday, Amanda had a chance meeting with another young woman connected to donation – Tiffanie Reilly. Thank you to Amanda and Tiffanie for sharing their stories with us! Tiffanie Reilly (left) and Amanda Wright (right). Where: Moth

    A Big Fun Run Announcement

To Our Supporters, It has come to our attention that September 30th, the date we had originally scheduled for the 2017 Donate Life Family Fun Run, is Yom Kippur, a very significant holiday in the Jewish tradition. We are deeply sorry for this oversight on our part.
